Discussions

Within my discussions I may appear to take certain “sides” of a discussion, I will appear to have certain beliefs and be appearing to defend them. I make no claim to any immutable beliefs.

My goal is not changing anyone’s beliefs, but to simply help us to look at the origin of them. Show life from a new perspective.

I welcome any and all feedback, disagreements, opinions, viewpoints, and thoughts.

It’s All For You

Every word ever spoken was a message to you. Every song ever written was to tell you who you are. Every thought that has ever been thought was for you. Every story was told for you to see the truth hidden underneath. Everyone is here for you. This universe was made for you. You are so invaluable that all was created for you. You are beauty indescribable; you are perfection incarnate; you are ultimate divinity. All grace is yours; all life is for you; all Love is for you. You are life itself, you are the stars, you are the sun, you are the moon. You are the darkness and the light. You are the destruction and the salvation. You were put here to find your true identity. You cannot be anything but who you are, you simply forgot, but you will remember.
Everyone is here for you, every event plays out just for you, everything within "reality" and "imagination" comes from within you. You are more Loved than you could ever fathom. This world is your playground, it is filled with infinite life forms to keep you company and show you your true identity. When that song speaks directly to your soul, it's because it was written for you. The beauty that takes your breath away is for you. Every sunset and every sunrise are for you. There is nothing that isn't for you. You are a Starseed of Love and Light and this universe is your garden in which you were planted. Everything within this universe is to help you blossom. All the suffering and the muck and the pain is so you can grow tall and strong just as the trees need the storms to make them tall and strong.
You were planted in order to blossom into pure energetic Love. This universe will play out for as long as you need it to in order to for you to see the truth of who you are. You are Loved. You are Love itself. You have always been Loved. You will always be Loved. You are never alone. You have never been alone. You will never be alone. There is nothing to fear since all was created for you, and all is for you. Nothing can or will ever harm you. Nothing is ever against you. Anything that appears to be against you, is your guardian angels, directing you in the right direction, teaching you lessons, showing you who you are.
How can you say there is anything to fear? How can you say that anything can harm you? You are still here, aren't you? You haven't died, have you? Death isn't real. Don't allow the illusion of death deceive you. Since all was created for you, and everyone is here for you, you cannot die. When someone in your life appears to die, it is simply because they were no longer needed in your life, you have learned all there is to learn from them. There is no reason for someone to stick around in this world any longer than is needed to teach you what they were meant to teach you. Everyone is here for you to teach you who you are. Don't allow the "evidence" of another's "death" determine your life.
Since you have never died, you cannot say that death is real. You can never understand anything without directly experiencing it firsthand. You can never know "death" until you experience it directly, which you cannot do since there is no death and all this is for you. There is no death, and the only hell is the one you tell yourself exists. You couldn't go to hell even if you tried, since there is no hell. Just as you have never died, you have never been to hell, both are impossible.
Every religion was created for you, to show you the path to yourself. God created this world for you, Christ died for you, Buddha attainted enlightenment for you. Every dishonest deed was committed for you and every kind act was done in honor of you. All the angels and the demons were created simply to guide you, not to harm you. Everything within this Universe is a reflection of you. As within, so without. As above so below. The changing seasons are so you can see that suffering will never last. The day always comes and with it the sun to show you that you will always shine, and you will never fade away into the darkness. Plants were made to teach you to be patient as you grow and withstand the storms. The creatures of the land and sea were made to teach you different parts within yourself. People were made to show you the Love that you are.
Your body is formed from the elements of the world, you are one with this world and everything within it. You are the universe itself. You are Love incarnate. Love, Peace, Joy, Harmony Everlasting!

The Flame Of Life

Go somewhere that you can be undisturbed for a little while. This post should take around 15 minutes or so to read, so allow yourself that much time plus a little extra just in case, if there is anyone around, simply ask them to not disturb you for a little while. Get into a comfortable position. Give yourself permission to have a few moments to take a break from reality. There is nothing you need to do. Take three deep slow breaths, take your time, no rush.
Once you are feeling relaxed and at ease go ahead and imagine you're in a dimly lit room filled with people. These people could be your closest friends or family. If you don't have anyone close to you in your life, they can simply be people with whom you feel safe with. If you are more comfortable with strangers, they can all be strangers. The people themselves are unimportant, just whomever you are able to feel relaxed and comfortable with. The room can look like anything you want it to, whatever makes you feel safe and comfortable, the room can be as detailed as you would like, the room itself is also unimportant.
In the middle of the room there sits a pedestal, and on that pedestal sits an unlit candle. The candle itself can look however you want it to. It can be scented or unscented, whichever you prefer. Everyone in the room is standing in a circle around this unlit candle looking at it. Everyone is spread out to a distance which makes you feel comfortable and not overcrowded. If you feel a little overwhelmed due to there being too many people, imagine a few of them leaving until there is the right amount of people for your comfortability. There is no right number of people to be in the room, just whatever you are comfortable with.
Once the room is set up and everything and everyone is how you would like it to be, everyone in the room focuses their attention on the unlit candle. Everyone in the room is fully aware that the candle currently has no flame, it is simply a candle. We can all agree to this fact as we see no evidence whatsoever of a flame. As we all stare at this candle, someone suggests that we should light this candle and create a flame in which we can look at. There seems to be a mutual agreement among everyone in the room including yourself as to lighting the candle. It is at this point the flame has come into creation, not physically, but in our minds. No one in the room is able to physically witness the flame as of yet since the candle has not been lit, but we are all able to visualize what the flame will look like. We are all able to imagine feeling it's heat if we go near it. The flame becomes very real to us in our minds even though there is still no physical flame.
Someone walks up to the candle, pulls out a lighter, and lights the candle, then returns to their place in the circle around the candle. We all stand in the circle watching the flame. We all watch it flicker and glow. We see the life of the flame, how it moves on its own accord. We watch as its light dances all around the room, we watch it breathing the oxygen in the room, as we take turns walking up to it and put our hands near it, we can feel the heat radiating from the flame. There is no doubt in anyone's mind as to the reality of this flame. We all agree that this flame exists, this flame is here now, and we are all witnessing it. This flame is full of life and energy. No one can dispute that this flame is real in this moment.
All that seems to exist within this moment is that flame, everything else fades away as we all watch it. It becomes the most beautiful thing that any of us has ever witnessed or experienced. We are overcome with the strongest feeling of peace and serenity that we have ever known. We become one with this flame and are unable to distinguish ourselves from this flame. We all fade away and all that is left is the flame. In this moment there is nothing wrong with the world and all is well.
After a time, we notice the flame has melted most of the candle. We become aware of the fact that this flame will in fact die out and be no more. We have become so connected with this flame that we identify ourselves with it and can't even fathom the possibility of it just vanishing. We Love this flame, and we don't want to lose it. We ask ourselves where it will go when it leaves us. We ask ourselves why it even needs to leave at all. We don't want to lose this flame; we don't think it's right or fair. Despite our protests, the flame starts to flicker and becomes smaller and weaker. We can see it struggling for oxygen as it fights to stay alive. We can see that the flame itself doesn't want to go out. We want to help save it, we want to keep it alive, but we know there is nothing that we can do. The candle is fated to go out.
The time comes and the flame flickers for the last time giving off its last little bit of light and warmth and disappears. All that is left is smoke rising up from the charred wick of the candle. We stare in disbelief as the flame is no more. We can still smell the smoke filling our nostrils, we can still see the flame in our mind, and we can still feel it's warmth on our skin, but it is no more. We now stand in what feels like an empty room. It feels empty and lifeless without the flame. We became so attached to the flame that we are left with a feeling of grief and bewilderment. Why did the flame have to go out? We all just stand there in disbelief and questioning what to do now.
Hours pass and there is no longer any evidence of the flame ever having existed. We can no longer see its glow, we can no longer feel its warmth, and we can no longer smell any residue of smoke that was left behind. There is nothing, even the candle itself has vanished leaving an empty and lonely pedestal in the middle of the room. A new person walks into the room and asks us why we are all standing in a circle around this pedestal. We explain to them that there was the most beautiful flame that any of us had ever been witness to and how we all become one with this flame. They stand there and look at us as if we were insane. "What flame?" they say as they look at us in disbelief. We try to explain to them that there was in fact a flame and how we all witnessed it. They simply respond with "prove it" and yet we can't. We realize that we have no way to prove that this flame ever existed.
The flame only exists within our memory now. We all remember the flame and the time we spent with it even though there is no evidence that it ever existed. All at once we realize that the flame still lives on with us, within our collective memory of it. We realize that it doesn't matter whether we can prove it existence to anyone else or whether or not anyone even believes us, because we know what we experienced, and no one can take that away from us. We know that it was real and that it was alive, and we are grateful for having the opportunity to be with it and enjoy its presence while it was here. That flame will stay with us for the rest of our lives and will live on through us.
A new form of sadness comes over us as we realize that the flame will only live on as long as we are all still alive. Since the flame only lives on within our memories, once the last memory is gone so will the flame be also. We know we can't give our memories to anyone else; we don't have a method of transporting memories into another person's mind and even if we did it's the experience that makes it real. A memory is just an image or a description of an event. The thing that makes a memory real and meaningful is being able to live within that memory from a first-person perspective. We all know that movie made from someone's memories, is just that, a movie. It's just a story to us. It's not personal to us since we didn't directly experience it. We come to the conclusion that the best way to honor the life of the flame is to cherish our own memories of it. When we die, the flame dies with us, and we accept it for what it is. We may not like it, but what more can we do? We have no other choice.
We take a deep breath as we leave this room within our mind. Feel free to stretch your muscles or readjust. Maybe wiggle your toes. Take a moment to assess how you're feeling or what thoughts might be going through your mind if you would like and when you are ready feel free to read on.
You are that flame, and that flame is you. The flame represents your life. When we were looking at the unlit candle, that was when you weren't born yet. You didn't exist yet. When someone thought about creating you, which was more than likely your father or mother, that is when you came into existence spiritually. You didn't exist yet in physical manifestation but simply in thought. When someone lit the candle that is when you were born into this world and came into physical manifestation. You lived your life surrounded by all the people that you choose to be in your life. They all witnessed your existence and had memories created with you in them. They all lived with you and became one with you as they watched your life.
Your body will die, the same way the flame did. You will burn through the candle of life and there will be nothing to keep you in this realm any longer, you will have fulfilled your purpose. All the people in your life, will grieve you and feel lost without you. Your spirit will live on for a while, the same way the smoke from the flame lingers on for a while after it goes out. Eventually all the people that were in your life will be forced to face the fact that you are gone and will be forced to move on with their own lives. You will live on in their memories, they will cherish and Love you until the day that their flame goes out. After the last person who knew you personally dies, you will be no more, there will no longer be any firsthand experience of you or your life, all there will be is stories of you, but that is all they will be, just stories.
Even the stories of you will eventually fade away. Given enough time, it will be as if you never existed and yet you did. There will be no evidence of your existence the same as there was no evidence there was ever a flame. Thousands of years from now, you will officially have never existed to anyone who is alive at that time in the future. Yet you exist now. You have people in your life who Love you now, you have people in your life who are witnessing you now, and you have people in your life who have memories of you now.
You didn't exist in the past before you were a thought in anyone's mind. Just as the flame didn't exist before anyone thought of it. You won't exist in the future when there is no longer evidence of you and after all the memories and stories of you fade away. You only exist now and since you exist now, that makes you real, just as real as anything else that exists right now. When can you exist but now? Now is the only time that you have. You don't have the future and you don't have the past. The truth is, you were fine before you came into physical manifestation in this world, and you be fine after you leave the physical manifestation of this world. Need no to worry about what isn't happening right now. Don't regret the past and don't worry about the future for now is literally all you have. Don't waste it. Love and Peace!

Children

Matthew 18:3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Children know nothing of this world. Children aren't aware of the "rules" governing our society. Children have to be taught how to "act like a human" as if there is such a way that could ever be taught. Why are humans the only species that are required to be taught "how to be"? A bear isn't taught how to be a bear, it is just a bear. A mosquito isn't taught how to be a mosquito, it is just a mosquito. The same can be said about all life except us humans.
"Behave", "mind your manners", "sit straight", "respect your elders", "control yourself", "pay attention", "be good", etc. etc. etc. We are all told how to act, what to say and do, and how to think. How does that seem to be going? Does humanity appear to be having a good time?
Children are just children. Children are perfect examples of humanities true nature. Children are content with life, children are happy and peaceful, and children have a heart of gold. It is only when adults interfere with children in an attempt to train them to become human, which is what they already are, that they become "flawed". Humans attempt of making humans more human is an impossible attempt. Can you pick yourself up off the ground by grabbing your feet and pulling? Can you bite your own teeth? Can you use your eyes to see your brain? If we can't do any of these things, why do we think that we can be a better human than we already are?
Children teach us unrelenting Love and forgiveness. Children teach us acceptance and kindness. Children teach us patience and understanding. Children teach us positivity. Children teach us how to play and enjoy life. Children don't see skin color, gender, sexuality, or beliefs. Children can be friends with anyone. We all started out as children, we were all happy and content until we were told to be something that we already were. The is no such thing as a perfect human and yet we are all trying to be just that. We are all frustrated as hell that we can never be someone that we were never meant to be.
Be like the children, simply means to forget everything that you were ever taught. Forget everything anyone has ever told you. Forget everything you think you know. None of it means anything. Try telling a cat how to be a cat and see what happens. Try telling a ladybug how to be a ladybug and see what happens. Just because we are human, we think they we have the ability to know what a human should be like and strive for that ideal version which doesn't exist. No one has a clue what were supposed to be like, we all just listen to everyone else assuming they all know. If we question that logic, we eventually discover that no one knows what the hell they're doing and were all just making it up as we go. Love and Peace!

Talking To Ourselves

Every word that is spoken is only to thy own self. We only think that we are talking to others but in reality, all any of us are doing is talking to ourselves. This isn't to say there isn't anyone else there but simply we aren't talking to them. This includes all other acts of expression that we use which include but aren't limited to singing, art, writing, and body langue. According to one study, 96% of adults say they have an internal dialogue. The majority of us have an internal dialogue, when we speak to someone outside of ourselves, we believe that we are in fact speaking to them when we are actually still just speaking to ourselves out loud instead of in our mind.
No matter what your beliefs are, there is one fact that is true for every single one of us. We will all die. What use are words spoken to others? If we all went our entire lives and never spoke a word, life would go on all the same and we would all die just the same. Since humans have developed the ability to use words as a langue, we were forced to come up with words to explain all sorts of things in order to understand the world around us. We needed words to differentiate "you" from "me". In reality there is no "you" or "me", those things don't exist, they are simply concepts that we humans came up with. In the beginning was the word and it was the word that separated us.
Let's go over a couple examples of common words or phrases that we believe we are saying to others when we are in fact speaking to ourselves. Anytime we tell someone "I Love you" or "I hate you", we believe that we are expressing how we feel about them to them. We are actually trying to tell ourselves how they make us feel. When we hate someone, it's because they cause us pain or misery and if we would listen to ourselves and avoid that person, we would have no reason to tell them anything. When we Love someone, we simply like how they make us feel about ourselves, they make us feel all warm and cozy inside. Telling them that we Love them doesn't change anything, it's an overflow of nice feelings.
Since we have words that appear to separate "you" from "me" we have the belief that we are lacking something. If there is a "you" then "you" are able to possess something that "I" don't have or vice versa. Since we believe that we are able to lack something, we find the incessant need to tell everyone. The more someone talks, the less content they are with themselves, the less someone talks the more content they are with themselves. Since there are so many different words for every type of physical object, emotion, and thought we all have different things that we are trying to tell ourselves but ultimately, we are all trying to tell ourselves the same thing.
What is it that we are all trying to tell ourselves? What is it that we all want to know but can't seem to figure out? What is it that makes us feel possessed to tell "others" all of our thoughts? What is it that we all desire? What is it that we all long for and think that we are lacking?
We all long to Love and to be Loved. Since we believe that "you" can possess more Love than "me", we believe we are lacking Love. Since we believe that "I" can possess more Love than "you", we believe that we are better than. When we Love all equally and see no forms of separation, we no longer have a need to tell anyone anything. We simply find peace, joy, and harmony in existing. We no longer have a need for words or to tell anyone anything. It is only the miniscule belief in words that keeps us in misery. It is only because you believe in words, that you have the need to use them. True bliss, true happiness, true peace, require no words.
The more we try to use words the more frustrated we become. The less we use words the more at peace we are. When you are freed from the prison of words, they can no longer be used against you as a weapon or a reward. When you are freed from the prison of words, no one can hold any power over you. When you are freed from words, you are no longer afraid of them. How many of us are afraid of words? We all have a list of words we aren't "allowed" to say. Why are certain words not allowed? Why are certain words considered "curse" words? Simply because we believe they are. We give words their power, without us (the meaning makers), words have no power since they are without meaning.
Every song ever written was someone writing it to themselves. When we can relate to the words, we like the song saying, "it was written for me". Every piece of art ever made was someone making it for themselves. When we can relate to what we see, we say "it inspires us". When someone tells us something that we agree with we like them, when someone says something, we don't agree with, we don't like them. We base a lot of our opinions about people on what words they use when words have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with who they are.
A person who uses angry, violent, mean, abusive, or hate filled words is in pain. A person who uses kind, gentle, caring, and Love filled words is at peace. We decide to hate people for their mean words and punish them when we could be Loving them and taking that pain away. Punishing them only increases the pain they feel making it all that much more real to them. When we don't have pain, we don't feel the need to hurt others. We hurt others when we hurt ourselves. It may not be healthy; it may not be right but it's what we do. When we are in pain and we attempt to hurt others, it is simply a cry for help. All evil comes from pain, the eviler someone is, the more pain they are in. Heal the pain so Loving kindness can shine through. No one is broken beyond repair. Love and Peace!

The Perfect Human

Did humanity take a vote about who the perfect human is? How would we even decide who the perfect human is? Would it be based on character, looks, skill, attributes, knowledge, wealth, or influence? Could we even agree what to base the perfect human on? We'd have to have a vote on how to judge something like that and then go on a search for those who fulfill the requirement. We would vote for those we think might fulfill the position of perfect human but honestly if all of humanity didn't agree on the who that person is, it wouldn't really mean anything. We have no examples of a perfect human since there are no perfect humans. There is no definitive definition of what a perfect human is and yet we strive for perfection, to be the best.
Since there will be those among us who would say Jesus is an example of the perfect human. Jesus is a demigod. Half God (Dad), half human (Mom). We are talking about full blood humans, not half God humans. So aside from demigods, deities, and buddhas, there is no perfect human. Humans are inherently flawed; it is our flaws that make us human. Since we are all humans that means that none of us are perfect, not even you. We all make mistakes, we all do stupid shit, and we are all self-centered. If you believe that you are perfect and no one else is, you are delusional and probably have narcissistic personality disorder. If you believe that everyone else is perfect and that you are the only one who is flawed, you are also delusional and probably have physiological trauma along with depression.
Thinking your better than someone else, is the belief that there can be a perfect human and that you are closer to that status than the person that you are better than. If you think anyone is better than you, it is the belief that you are lower to the status of perfect human than them. We are equal in the realm of humanity. We are all imperfect.
On the flip side, since we are all equally flawed, we can also be viewed as all being perfect. Since there is no one human that is perfect, essentially that means that we are all perfect. No one is flawed, there is nothing wrong with anyone. It doesn't matter how you look at it, either everyone is flawed and imperfect or everyone is perfect, there is no gray area where some of us are perfect and others aren't, that's irrational and illogical. Love and Peace!
