Who’s In Control?

The individual is controlled by society. Society is controlled by the justice system. The justice system is controlled by the government. The government is controlled by the lobbyists and the lobbyists are controlled by the ultra-wealthy. It appears as if the ultra-wealthy are the ones running the show, the ones who are in charge of everything. But why are the ultra-wealthy building bunkers as if they're terrified of a mass revolt from society? If the ultra-wealthy were in control and actually knew what they were doing, then why the bunkers?
The truth that no one wants to admit is that no one has any clue what the hell they are doing. We are all just doing the best we can with the information that we have. The masses follow the "leaders" and like to believe that the leaders know what they are doing. The majority of leaders are just in it for their own benefit and don't actually know what they are doing either.
A true leader is someone who realizes there isn't anyone to lead, a true leader has nothing to teach. Humans are so intent on believing that there are answers out there floating in space and that someone must have access to these answers. The people who seem to have these invisible answers become the leaders, they become people who everyone else looks up to. A true leader doesn't consider themselves a leader. A true leader has his role cast upon them, and they have no need or desire to seek out leadership. When someone seeks out leadership, it's because they are trying to find the answers that they believe other leaders possess.
There are no answers floating around in space and there isn't one way of doing anything. We are all doing the best we can with the information we have. Those of us who give up trying to find the illusive imaginary answers and decide to simply enjoy life are freed from the illusion of leader and follower. No one is a teacher and yet the whole world is a teacher. Every life form that is encountered is a teacher and has something valuable to teach. No one can teach consciously; we all teach subconsciously.
We all want to belief there is a universal truth that applies to everyone, and we all seek it out. We believe this because we believe words to be real and since words appear to give us answers, we interpret this to mean there has to be a universal answer. You will never find what you seek using words, it's just not possible. Watch the world around you, live your life in the present, give up words and all the illusions that come with them. There are answers in the universe for anyone who seeks them, but they cannot be expressed using words. People all throughout history have tried to use words to explain the answers, to explain reality, and to explain God. Words never work, words can ALWAYS be distorted, twisted, manipulated, mistranslated, misinterpreted, and misused.
Look around the world that you see, look at the "leaders" of the world that you see. Does it really seem like anyone actually knows what they are doing? We are all free to follow our "leaders" but maybe we should ask ourselves just why we are following them and are they actually leading us anywhere that is helpful. We grow up believing that our parents know everything, and we never question them. We assume that they have the answers and that they are looking out for us. We believe that our parents know exactly what they are doing. To a child, parents are the ultimate leaders. As we age and become adults and have children of our own, we are able to see just how much our parents had no clue what they were doing. We see this by acknowledging that we don't know what we are doing when we are raising our children, we are simply doing the best that we can in the same way our parents did with us.
How many of us as adults are still blindly trusting and believing someone because we believe that they know what they are doing and that they have all the answer. It could be a religious figure, a political figure, a role model, or anything in between. We gained personal knowledge and experience and learned that our parents didn't know what they were doing. We also have the ability to gain more personal knowledge and experience to learn that the people we blindly follow so relentlessly now probably don't know what they are doing either. The more answers someone claims to have, the less they actually have. we call this overcompensating due to lack of confidence. A true leader never has to brag about how much they know since a true leader knows they know nothing. A true leader never tells anyone what to do, they simply guide by living their life in harmony with all beings. Love and Peace!
