Within my discussions I may appear to take certain “sides” of a discussion, I will appear to have certain beliefs and be appearing to defend them. I make no claim to any immutable beliefs.

My goal is not changing anyone’s beliefs, but to simply help us to look at the origin of them. Show life from a new perspective.

I welcome any and all feedback, disagreements, opinions, viewpoints, and thoughts.

Emotions

Anger shows you what you are clinging to, whether it be an idea or a belief. Fear shows you what you are trying to control that is out of your control. Sadness shows you what part of you is craving Love and attention. Guilt shows you the part of yourself that could use some compassion and understanding. Joy shows you that all is well. Love shows you who you are.
Emotions are not our enemy, they are not something to be fought, feared, and fled. Our emotions are not trying to torture us, they are our support system, our guides, our navigators, our interpreters. Each emotion that shows up is there to help us, they are there to show us something, and emotions are here to help us heal. We all have emotional wounds that need to be healed and our emotions are showing us where to put the band aid. When we cut our hand it bleeds, it’s our body’s way of showing us what is in need of a band aid. Think of emotions as the blood of our mind. We have an emotional cut inside of us and we can’t see it, so how do we know where to put the band aid? We know because our emotions tell us where to put it. If we realize our emotions are there to help us, we proceed to learn how to listen to them and put the band aids where they tell us to.
So how do we put a band aid on an emotional wound? By doing what that emotion is asking for. Let go of the thing that is causing the anger. Stop trying to control things out of your control when fear shows up. When sadness comes knocking simply welcome it in and be with it, Love it, cherish it, and hold it. Sadness just wants to be Loved. Forgive the part that feels the guilt, it’s ok to feel guilty, you didn’t do anything wrong, just forgive yourself, it’s ok.
The more you treat all your emotions equally as friends the more you will see your friend joy. Joy doesn’t make many appearances for so many of us. We’re too busy trying to fight off all of our other emotions while frantically searching for our long lost friend joy. Joy only comes around when all is well, when we are emotionally healthy. Joy’s only job is to let us know there’s nothing we need to do at this time, nothing is in need of attention, and nothing is in need of first aid, all is well. Joy isn’t something to seek and it isn’t something to cling to like your life depends on it, joy is the Sabbath, it’s the time where you can relax and be yourself and not worry about your healing process.
When you become friends with your emotions it opens the door to Love. We often can’t find Love inside of us, it’s not because Love isn’t there, it’s simply because we’re too busy being at war with ourselves to notice it’s silent endless presence. Love has always been within us, we are Love. When we see Love, we see who we are, and all is well. Love and peace!

Satan

You have been given the truth, yet you still don't believe. Why don't you believe the truth when it is staring you in the face. Satan is the reason.
In the dream of Adam, Satan represents opposition, temptation, or an adversary. The true name of Satan is doubt. Doubt (Satan) causes opposition. Doubt (Satan) is temptation to not believe the truth, and doubt (Satan) is your adversary.

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” - Matthew 14:31

We first see Satan (doubt) make an appearance in Genesis in the form of a serpent. Adam and eve doubted God and ate the fruit and were cast out just as had been foretold by God. Everything that God said would happen did, and it was because Adam doubted God.
The book of Job in the bible is a story Job who faces Satan (doubt) head on. Job endures immense suffering which would cause most everyone to doubt God. After Job loses everything and everyone, a few of his "friends" come by to tell him that he should repent, and that he basically deserved it. Job not only faced Satan (doubt) head on, but he also stood against those who tried to reinforce Satan (doubt). In the end of the story, Job does not give into Satan (doubt), Job continues to trust in God despite the suffering he endured and his "friends" telling him that he deserved it.

For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth; 26 And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, That in my flesh I shall see God - Job 19:25–26.

In the end of the story, Job is rewarded for his dedication and trust in God despite extreme suffering and opposition from his "friends". Job stood firm in his faith and didn't doubt God and he was rewarded.

Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan (doubt)! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” - Matthew 4:10

And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan (doubt), and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him. Mark 1:13

Then Satan (doubt) entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. - Luke 22:3

Anytime you see the word Satan in the bible, replace it with the word doubt and everything will make sense. God is Love, Satan is doubt. Doubt opposes Love.
If it weren't for Satan (doubt) you would believe Christ when he tells you that your sins are forgiven. Or when Christ says we are all gods. If it weren't for Satan (doubt) we would believe the hundreds of times the bible would tell us not to be afraid. If it weren't for Satan (doubt), we would be blessed with treasures beyond our imagination. If it weren't for Satan, we wouldn't fear Love, we would embrace it with open arms. We choose Satan (doubt) over God (Love). Only those who ignore doubt and turn away from it, will be blessed. Doubt leads to hell where the world as you know it resides. Release yourself from doubt and be freed from your shackles. Everything is ok, that has been promised to you, why do you doubt? What good has doubt ever brought you? Self-doubt leads to confusion, misery, grief, and sorrow. Satan (doubt) only has power if you allow it to. Don't give doubt any power and you'll see it for what it is, which is nothing. Peace and Love!

The Best Kept Secret Of All Time

Would you like to know the best kept secret of all time? It won't cost you a thing and you don't have to do anything to find it out. If everyone knew this secret, the world as we know it would end immediately. The catch is, you won't believe it, it is such a well-kept secret that you won't even believe me when I tell you. Heret it is, are you ready? THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ANYONE, WHICH INCLUDES YOU. NO ONE HAS EVER DONE ANYTHING WRONG, WHICH INCLUDES YOU. EVERYONE IS PERFECT WHICH INCLUDES YOU. NO ONE NEEDS TO DO ANYTHING!
See I told you that you wouldn't believe it. We all know dozens of people just off the top of our head that isn't perfect and what they have done that is wrong. That's what they want you to believe. It's not true.
What's the first thing we learn as a child? Right and wrong. We are taught if we do wrong, we get punished and if we do right, we get rewarded. Religions reinforce this theory by telling us about the tree of good and evil, Adam and Eve choose to eat the apple, they choose to do "wrong", they believed they had done "wrong" and became ashamed. God walks by and is all like, hey guys, what you doing? Like God didn't already know. They experienced shame because they believed they had done wrong. They believed they had done wrong because they ate the fruit from the tree that taught them "wrong". The fruit from the tree was just the idea of "wrong" being planted into their mind. Since they believed they were "wrong" they believed themselves to be cast out of the garden.
But for Adam no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. - Genesis 2:20-21
God caused Adam to fall asleep. ADAM NEVER WOKE UP! Nowhere in the bible does it ever say that Adam woke up. Adam dreamt that he had eaten the apple, he dreamt the shame, he dreamt being kicked out and banned from the Garden of Eden. The entire bible is Adam's dream, what a mindblower! Feel free to fact check.
Humans are living in this dream and when humans wake up from the dream, they will find themselves waking up in the Garden of Eden having never left and having never done anything "wrong", since it was all a dream.
Think of what would happen to all the churches and religions if you were to find out that there is nothing "wrong" with anyone. You wouldn't need to be saved or try to save anyone else. You wouldn't need to repent for anything, having done nothing "wrong". Religion would cease to exist, no more mega churches and millionaire preachers with their mansions. No more church buildings that only exist to take your money.
The entire economy would crash, you would no longer buy products made to make you "better". You're already perfect and if you knew that 90% of the businesses of the world would disappear overnight. Not to mention all the plastic surgeons, life coaches, gurus, and so on would need to find new jobs.
If the world found out this secret, the world as we know it would end. There would be peace on earth and famine and war would disappear overnight. We would be living in a literal heaven (because we already are). Noone would have any reason to fight about anything or be ashamed of anything or need to be "better" than who they already are. Everyone wants to know how to end famine and end war and bring world peace, it's by letting this secret out. How do we get past the issue of no one believing the truth? Some of us have figured out this truth and have tried to tell us.
No one believes it. Look around the world, it's filled with people who believe there is something wrong with them. That's how ads work, advertisers know we all think there is a bunch of shit wrong with ourselves and they can all sell us the "solutions" to our "imperfections" and "wrongdoings". There would be no need for politics or leaders anymore, why do we need leaders? To keep us in line of course. Why do we need to be kept in line? Because if we aren't kept in line, "all hell would break loose". Since there is nothing wrong with anyone, we wouldn't need anyone to keep us in line.
Crime would vanish and the entire defense department along with all the three letter governmental agencies would be no more. We would no longer need money and cars and mansions and products to make us "better". No one would ever be upset about anything. Suicides, school shootings, and mass killings would be a thing of the past. Gender and "beauty" would no longer matter to anyone. There would be no hate. There would only be Love and peace!
John Lennon knew this secret and he tried to tell us with the song "Imagine". He's describing heaven (the real world). He's describing a world where everything is perfect, and no one has ever done anything wrong. Adam never dies, having never eaten the fruit and only dreaming that he had, there is no death. We live in a collective dream where the world and everything in it is "wrong" and we waste all of our energy trying to "fix it" to make it "right". This is evident in all aspects of our lives, we just don't want to look at it. Not believing the truth doesn't make it any less real. Love and Peace!

Forgiveness

To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you. - Lewis B. Smedes

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. - Mahatma Gandhi

It's one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, to forgive. Forgive everybody. - Maya Angelou

Forgiveness isn't for the sake of anyone but yourself. Holding on to grievances literally only hurts yourself and absolutely no one else, since there are no "others". We aren't told to forgive because we "need to" or it's our "duty". We are told to forgive because that is how we find freedom. When we hold on to anger, bitterness, grievances, and wrongdoings from others, those eat away at us, not them. The person you refuse to forgive, is not being affected by your unforgiveness in anyway whatsoever, it does nothing to them, it only hurts you. Most of the time the person who "wronged" you isn't even aware of the fact that they did anything "wrong".
We don't forgive because we feel the pain caused by the grievance personally and feel as if there should be some sort of retribution for the person who caused it. It doesn't seem fair that the person who hurt us so deeply should be allowed to go on and remain unpunished. That person is being punished in their own way, we just are unable to see it, we all hide our suffering from one another as if it were something to be ashamed of. The first Noble Truth in Buddhism is the idea that everyone suffers, and that suffering is part of the world. So why are we all so ashamed of our suffering when we all experience it equally? When we suffer more than normal due to "another's" actions towards us, we believe they should get more suffering as well, so we can be even so to speak. The truth is all suffering is suffering, there is no greater suffering or lesser suffering, all suffering is equal. It's not like most of us are walking around saying, "eh, it was only a tiny suffering, I could've handled more, please give me more." Suffering is suffering and it doesn't matter how small or large it is, we all try to avoid it.
When someone "wrongs" you, it's due to something going on inside of themselves, it has nothing to do with you. Everyone is so caught up in their own little worlds to even notice how their actions effect "others". What does holding onto anger and unforgiveness actually do for you? The longer you hold on, the more angry and bitter you get. The more impatient you grow as you wait for the "other" to get their retribution. Nothing ever gets resolved.
A lot of us have a hard time forgiving "others" because we have a hard time forgiving ourselves. We believe that we are just a big fuck up and everything we do is wrong. We only believe that because, that's what we've been told, not because it's true. We don't feel as if we ourselves deserve forgiveness, so why the hell should we forgive anyone else? Because we all deserve forgiveness whether you believe it or not. There is nothing you have done that cannot be forgiven, that has been promised.

23 So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. 27 In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house. 28 Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” - Mark 3:23-29

What Jesus meant by this is when you are divided against yourself (doubt yourself) that is blaspheming against the Holy Spirit, they Holy Spirit is the life within you, your life force, it is you, part of the trinity of the whole. It is the unforgivable sin because you believe yourself to be unforgivable, you doubt God, therefore when you believe that you are unforgivable, you are in fact unforgivable due to your own belief and your doubt of God. You are divided against yourself. When you forgive yourself, you are no longer divided against yourself and therefore are no longer committing the unforgivable sin (sin meaning missing the point, not doing something wrong). You free yourself from the unforgivable sin by forgiving it.
There are two paths to the reconciliation of forgiveness. First path is usually the harder path but it is by far a much shorter path. Forgive yourself, once you forgive yourself, the forgiveness of all "others" follow right behind. The second path is definitely easier, but it tends to be much longer. Forgive anyone that you consider to be "other" than yourself and when you have forgiven all "others", you will find forgiving yourself will come easily. Most of us take the second longer path, which is to forgive "others" but even then we still hold on to certain "others" that we just refuse to forgive. Satan and Hitler are two prime examples. Remember forgiveness doesn't mean that you agree with someone's actions or what they stand for. Forgiveness frees you, not "them". They are still responsible for their own karma and nothing you do has any effect on their karma.
Just try forgiving one person, take it one person at a time. The first time is the hardest, after that it gets a little easier each time. Pick someone who you have deep unforgiveness for, remind yourself that they have their own karma to deal with and it will come despite you forgiving them even if you can't see it. Remind yourself that holding onto that unforgiveness is only hurting you and no one else. Just forgive them. How? Say "I forgive _____", that is all you have to do. Keep saying until you believe it, keep saying it until you no longer feel rage when you think about that person, and keep saying it when you aren't sure if you want to anymore. What you believe, you make real. If you keep saying you forgive that person, you will start to believe it, as soon as you believe it, that person no longer has a hold over you and you are freed.
If forgiving an entire person and all of their actions feels too hard for you at first, start with one tiny thing they did to you and forgive that specific event. Maybe you were in an abusive relationship of some sort with a parent, sibling, or spouse. Since the entire relationship was abusive, there are probably hundreds of things that added up to the entirety of the relationship. If you find it to hard to forgive hundreds of things all at once that the abuser did to you, just think of one specific thing the abuser did and forgive that thing. Just keep saying "I forgive ____ for the time they did ____" and don't stop saying that until the event no longer stirs any emotions within you.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven - Luke 5:20

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. - Luke 6:37

You are already forgiven whether you believe it to be true or not. There is nothing that you can ever do that cannot be forgiven. The only unforgivable sin is not believing you can be forgiven. Once you forgive yourself, even that sin is forgiven since you will no longer be divided. God knows what you've done, and it is already forgiven. Peace and Love!
