Discussions

Within my discussions I may appear to take certain “sides” of a discussion, I will appear to have certain beliefs and be appearing to defend them. I make no claim to any immutable beliefs.

My goal is not changing anyone’s beliefs, but to simply help us to look at the origin of them. Show life from a new perspective.

I welcome any and all feedback, disagreements, opinions, viewpoints, and thoughts.

Sexuality

Sexuality isn't a moral issue. Humans have turned sexuality into a moral issue for purposes of manipulation and control. All morals come from an illusion, the illusion that there is something "wrong" with you. Since there is something "wrong" with you, that must mean there is something you can do to "fix yourself". When there is something that you can do to fix yourself that also implies that you can do the opposite which is to "make yourself worse", as a result you get morals. Since you believe that there is "something wrong with you", you believe in morals, and since you believe in morals, you're always trying to "fix yourself".
Since sexuality is believed to be a "moral" issue, when it is in fact a natural function of nature, it causes nothing but headaches for the majority of us. We suppress our sexuality, we are ashamed of our sexuality, and we tell others what their sexuality should be. Sexuality has become such a major "moral" issue that it's all most of us can think about. We spend our lives either chasing sex or hiding from it.
Those of us who suppress our sexuality, tend to be angry and bitter. Those of us who are hypersexual tend to never be satisfied, always wanting more. Both views are two extremes of the same issue. You are most content in life when you are able to meet the two issues in the middle. Find the common ground, the answer to all the sexual issues we face today is to simply stop calling it a "moral" issue and treat it the same way we treat sleeping, eating, and hydrating. Sex a is normal and natural human process. Don't suppress sex and don't overindulge in sex, simply allow it to happen as it happens. That does not mean it is ever ok to touch another person without their permission. It is never ok to touch another person without their permission, we have no idea where someone is coming from or what is in their past and we have no idea how touch effects them, so we should always ask before touching anyone in anyway.
Aside from being humans, we are also Mammels. Why is sex only a moral issue for the human species of mammals but not for any other mammal species? It's because our beliefs tell us that sex is a moral issue. Where do those beliefs come from? Who told you your beliefs? Where did you read you beliefs? How do you know your beliefs to be true aside from someone else told you that it was true? Just have faith, right? Have faith that what you believe to be true; is in fact true... but what if...you're wrong??

Child sexual predators tend to act in the same manner with their victims. The same pattern gets repeated time and time again and used by all predators. The predator will tell the child that if the child tells anyone what happened that the child will be the one to get in trouble and no child wants to get into trouble. So out of fear the child doesn't speak of the sexual assault that took place. Since the child doesn't speak about the assault with anyone, out of fear, the child starts to believe that they in fact did something "wrong". If the child had talked to someone about the assault, someone could've explained to the child that they did nothing wrong and will not get in trouble. The child could then see the truth of the situation as opposed to what they believed to be true. Because the child had "faith" that they knew what happened, the child usually develops anxiety, depression, or PTSD. If the child had been able to see the truth, they could've worked through the emotions of the incident instead of repressing them.
When someone instructs you to "just have faith", it's because they fear you finding the truth. Each individual has their own motivations for keeping you from finding out the truth for yourself. Some are afraid of the truth themselves and find it easier to just have faith as opposed to looking for the truth, is seems easier on the surface but it only leads to confusion. Some want you to "just have faith" because they are getting something from you, it could be money, it could be your time, it could be to have more followers, or it could be your presence.
Everyone has the same choice; we can decide to "just have faith" or we can choose to seek the truth for ourselves. If we choose to "just have faith" and not question any of our beliefs that's fine, but we could always ask ourselves, "why do I need to have faith, and who's telling me that I need to?" Look at the persons actions that is telling you to "just have faith" don't listen to the words that they are speaking, look at their actions. Actions hold way more weight than words. Watch someone's actions and you will know who they are. Words can't be trusted, not because we all lie, but simply because we all have our own truth. We all have our own truth based on our personal opinions and beliefs, someone may tell you their truth, but it may not be your truth. Don't put so much energy into interpreting words, put your energy into interpreting actions. I Love You and Peace Be With You!

7 “Deadly” Sins

The Hebrew word most commonly translated as “sin”—cheit—literally means “to go astray.” An alternative meaning of “cheit” is an archery target. So sinning is like an arrow missing the target. Sinning, in short, is missing the mark.
Some religions have twisted the word "sin" into something evil. Some religions have convinced their followers that sin means "to do something wrong, in which you'll be punished by God". Sin in its simplest form means that you're missing out on your best life, so when you commit a sin, it means you could be happier if you wouldn't commit that sin. Let's break down the 7 deadly sins together and make sense of them. A lot of people view the bible as a very strict rule book written by God. The Bible is actually just a "guide to living your best life", in fact most all major religious texts are just guides. Why would God create us just to be a dungeon master over us, wouldn't it make more sense if God was trying to give us guides to be happy and enjoy life?
1. Pride is defined as an excessive love of one’s own excellence. That means having a huge "ego", thinking you're better than everyone else. When you're an egotistical asshole, the only other people who like you are usually other egotistical assholes. You miss out on having more people in your life and being more content with life when you have Pride. Be less prideful and you'll be happier. The punishment of pride isn't doled out by God, the punishment for pride is not having very many people like you.
2. Greed is defined as the immoderate love or desire for riches and earthly possessions. A person can also be greedy for fame, attention, power, or anything else that feeds one’s selfishness. We can see right there that greed is extreme selfishness. I don't really need to say why no one likes selfish people very much. When your greedy and selfish, you're not liked very well. Greed also leads to never having enough and always wanting more therefore causing suffering. That is the punishment.
3. Lust is defined as a strong desire for something. Buddha was one of the first to discover that life is suffering, and it is desire that leads to suffering. Intense desires lead to intense suffering, that is the punishment.
4. The theological definition of envy is resentment or sadness at another’s good fortune or excellence, with an often insatiable desire to have it for oneself. This goes along with being selfish and greedy but it also adds in seeing someone as "other" than yourself and wanting "them" to have less than you. It is impossible for "others" to have less, since there are no "others". This sin plunges you deeper into the collective dream of humanity, that is the punishment.
5. Gluttony is defined as the act or habit of eating or drinking too much. This one is easy. Have you ever overeaten at a family gathering, or a buffet, or at thanksgiving? What happens when we overeat? We feel like shit. When we are excessively gluttonous regularly, it leads to obesity which leads to a slew of health problems. That is the punishment.
6. Wrath is defined as a strong feeling of hatred or resentment with a desire for vengeance. How many times have we been told that vengeance and revenge never solve anything but only lead to more suffering. Someone kills your daughter, so you kill them, then their sister kills you, then your wife kills their sister, and so on. Vengeance and revenge always leads to more, it's an endless loop of suffering. Not to mention vengeance and revenge don't help you in anyway because it doesn't get rid of the pain that is causing the desire to seek retribution. The pain that you still carry is the punishment. Heal the pain and you have no need for vengeance or revenge.
7. Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work. In modern terms, it means lazy. If you're lazy, you don't really accomplish anything, you don't live life, you don't get to enjoy anything, you just kind of exist. It's an existence, it's just not a very fun existence. We can't really call this a punishment. If you want to be lazy, have at it, just know you're going to miss out on your life.
As we can see every sin has its own form of punishment that is the result of said sin. Sin is the cause, and punishment (suffering) is the effect. People like to sing "Awesome God"
by Michael W. Smith. They worship an "Awesome God" who will punish them for their sins by sending them to eternal hell in the future on top of their current punishment. Their "Awesome God" gives out double punishment if they don't repent. The truth is they are experiencing hell right now through their own actions, through their own sins. If they would stop sinning, they would ascend from the illusion of hell that they are currently living in, into the heaven which is the real reality.
When people scream at you to stop sinning or you're going to go to hell, such as the Westboro Baptist Church, remind yourself that they already live in hell. When you hate them back and yell at them or react to them, you are just confirming their beliefs, instead Love them and forgive them out of compassion, because you know they are in the deepest depths of hell. Why would you be angry with someone who is already living in hell? There is absolutely nothing you can do to someone who is living in hell that will make it any worse, I know from firsthand experience. I Love You and Peace Be With You!

“Well, I looked my demons in the eyes Lay bare my chest, said, Do your best to destroy me. See, I've been to hell and back so many times I must admit you kinda bore me” - "Empty" by Ray Lamontagne

Religon

All religions are equal. The base levels of religions all appear to be different. As you advance through the levels of religion, they start taking on similar meanings. Religion leads to spirituality and at the level of spirituality you are able to see the how all religions are the same. Religion separates humans into several groups of humans. Spirituality essentially shrinks religion into two groups of humans "spiritual" and "nonspiritual". "Enlightenment" is when you see there is no "other", duality vanishes and the is no more separation of anything. If you still see anything as "other" then you are still in the "egoic" dream of human and are not awake. When you see that there is no "other", you see there is nothing you need to do, since there are no "others" to save or help. There is no longer any attack, attack can only come from "other".

Heaven And Hell

Heaven and hell are not physical locations. Hell is not in the center of the earth and heaven is not floating in the clouds. Heaven and hell are not separate. You can't have heaven without hell and vice versa. Heaven and hell are simply states of our human psyche. They are states of mind, not places. They are both eternal and wholly intertwined. Human never left heaven, he just thinks he did, he's dreaming. The bible says in Genesis 2:21 "And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept:" "Yet the Bible says that a deep sleep fell upon Adam, and nowhere is there reference to his waking up." (https://acim.org/acim/en/s/61#3:6 | T-2.I.3:6). We are literally in heaven but are collectively dreaming that we are in hell. We are asleep and dreaming that we are the "character" that we created for ourselves. Wake up and find your true self in heaven! I Love You and Peace Be With You!

Intellectual “Disability”

The world of human is the world of the "ego", where everything is made up and nothing matters. We humans have all these rules about what makes us human and what doesn't. If you don't fit into the tiny definition of "human" you become an outcast from society. We humans are so caught up in the "rules" of being human, that we forget that simply being in a human body is what makes us human. The majority of the human population doesn't want to wake up from the dream we're living in, so we suppress, silence, or kill anyone who shows any signs of not wanting to be part of the human game that we made up.
If someone decides that pretending the rules of being human just isn't worth the headache anymore and decides to withdrawal from society, they are labeled a lunatic, a good for nothing bum, or just plain ignored. We fear waking up from our collective dream so much that we are even willing to kill off those of us who don't make the cut of being human. Some of us choose to have our children tested for any type of "disabilities" while still in the womb, if we don't like what we discover, we abort the child (This post is not about the morality of abortion). Instead of recognizing that fetus will be a human someday and of whom there will be absolutely nothing wrong with, we decide to not even give that human a chance at life. They would just be too much of a hassle, who wants to deal with a human who needs some extra Love and attention.
Humans with intellectual "disabilities" are still human. Plain and simple. No other living species on earth test their offspring for "defects" before having them. Everything in nature that produces offspring allows nature to play out on its own. If an offspring in the natural world isn't strong enough to survive outside the womb, nature has its way, and the offspring doesn't survive. Death is part of life in this world. We humans want to control everything including death. Can't we see we're just grasping at straws.
Humans on the autism spectrum are classified as neurodivergent which is defined as an individual who displays atypical development or behavior. As opposed to neurotypical which is defined as an individual with normal brain development and functioning. It's right there in the definition, we just ignore it. Humans who are on the autism spectrum aren't "normal". There is absolutely nothing wrong with people who are neurodivergent, they are human the same as everyone else, but since neurodivergent humans don't display typical "normal" human behavior, there must be something wrong with them. Whenever humans break free from the collective human dream, we humans "separate" them from the rest of humanity so they don't fuck up the dream.
Why are so many of us scared of humans with "disabilities", whether it be mental or physical? We are all human, beyond that we are all Mammels, beyond that we are all animals, beyond that we are all life. Isn't this something we all learned about in science class? Why do we choose to ignore the fact that we are part of this world and not above this world. We are so convinced that "normal" "typical" humans are all that exist in this world and everything else is for our pleasure. We are systematically trying to kill anyone who doesn't fit the "normal" definition of human. If we can't kill someone, we find a way to hide them away from the world, whether it be prison, psychiatric hospital, or poverty. Wouldn't take much thought to find hundreds of examples of this happening. The most extreme cases are considered genocide. For most of us genocide is not ok, but killing off an individual here and there is usually accepted and ignored.
Genocide didn't just disappear, humans just got better at hiding it. Most of us would look at a past genocide and try to learn how to not let that happen again. We look at it as "what went wrong?", "how could it have been prevented?", or "how do we stop this from happening again?". Have you ever considered that there are people who want to commit genocide and are also learning from past genocides. They are viewing past genocides as "how did they get caught?", "what did they do wrong?", and "how can I succeed where other failed?". Genocide still happens all over the world, we just put different words on it and suddenly it disappears. We call it war, famine, poverty, or really any word that isn't genocide.
Humans have gotten better at hiding genocide, so much so that some countries still openly commit genocide by forced sterilization. It's genocide if you kill a lot of people now, but sterilize them so there can be no more in the future and all of a sudden it's fine. That's still genocide, we just don't see the results until the future. Genocide is still genocide even if it happens in the future. The collective egoic dream of humanity wants to extinguish anyone who doesn't fit the description of being "normal".
If you have an intellectual "Disability", there is nothing wrong with you, you are still human and fuck anyone who tells you otherwise. Anyone who tells you that you are anything less than life and Love itself is only trying to bring you down to make themselves feel better about who they think they are, it's not personal. The world would be a hell of a lot more interesting and probably more fun if there were more of us who had intellectual "disabilities". I Love You and Peace Be With You!
