Discussions

Within my discussions I may appear to take certain “sides” of a discussion, I will appear to have certain beliefs and be appearing to defend them. I make no claim to any immutable beliefs.

My goal is not changing anyone’s beliefs, but to simply help us to look at the origin of them. Show life from a new perspective.

I welcome any and all feedback, disagreements, opinions, viewpoints, and thoughts.

Desire 2

Desire is a wish fulfilled. When we desire something in the present it shows us what is in our linear future. Our wish is fulfilled (future) and unfulfilled (present) simultaneously, which leaves us feeling like we are missing something that we have never had within our linear past but that we will have at a future linear time and that is the feeling within that we call desire.
Desire is craving your linear future self. Desire is a connection to our own linear future. When we desire something whatever it may be, we will have it as promised by God/Universe/Love. If we have no desire for something, it was simply not meant for our path, and we will not have it.
Fearing our desires is simply fearing our future in which we get what we want. Suppressing our desires is suppressing our very own linear future. Attempting to avoid our own fate. We have desires with the lack of faith that we are worthy of actually receiving our desires/future. Therefore our desires that we don’t think we deserve but that we know we already have in the linear future terrify us.
Sometimes we have false desires where we believe we desire something but it's actually part of a bigger desire that we haven't allowed ourselves to believe we deserve. These false desires, even though not real, can and will lead to the deeper desire hidden within. If we desire joy but don't believe that we deserve it, we may desire something appearing smaller which will only bring us only a little bit of joy but not too much like a big screen tv. We may then later desire something bigger like a boat and so on until we finally believe that we deserve to be in our natural state in which we were created which is pure eternal joy.

Each of us only allow ourselves to be as happy as we believe we deserve. If we have an illusionary view of our reality, we suppress our very own joy. In an effort of hiding this truth from ourselves, we project the suppression of joy onto "others", and we place the blame onto "them" allowing ourselves to not have to look at the truth that all suffering is self-inflicted. In other words, all suffering comes from within, suffering from without is impossible. It is our perception mixed with our belief that suffering is real that creates our reality and when we believe that our reality has suffering, we in turn cause our very own suffering as an attempt at proving this belief.

When we believe suffering is real and we aren't willing to let go of that belief we will always find suffering everywhere we look. We do this with any and all beliefs that we aren't willing to let go of. When we let go of the belief that suffering is real and start to really look at this world for what it is, the reality of the world starts to appear in place of the illusion we have placed upon the world.

All desires are part of the one true desire that we carry within. The desire to be free from suffering. When we let go of the belief in suffering and ignore all the "evidence" that we think we have in support of our belief, we allow ourselves to see the evidence which points to the contrary which is there is no suffering, there never was, and there never will be. All suffering is self-inflicted. All suffering is an illusion.

May we be free from suffering. May we see suffering for what it is, which is nothing at all. May we have the veil lifted from our eyes to the joy and beauty of heaven. May our eyes be opened to all false beliefs that come with the belief in suffering. May we see beyond suffering and find the root of the suffering. May we see ourselves for who we truly are, which is the eternal children of God/Universe/Love.

The belief in suffering comes from the belief in separation or duality. All is one, all is God, all is the universe, and all is Love. Everything is God. We look upon both sides of duality only to find ourselves in the center never having left. Having stared duality in the face we open our eyes to the true reality hidden from ourselves, the reality on non-duality. All is perfect, all is Holy, all is well. Peace and Love!

The Ultimate Dream

When we dream at night, we have the ability to be anyone in our dreams. We are surrounded by characters that we may or may not personally know. These characters are not real but are in fact created within our imagination. The characters and situation within our dreams at night are based on our waking life, which makes them real to us. We can dream in our sleep and wake up only to realize we are we are still dreaming, realizing we are in a dream within a dream. When we are awake during the day we also have the ability to dream, which we call daydreaming.
We dream this world through our ideas of it, our labels we put on it. We see what we want to see, and we ignore what we don't want to see. We try to control our experiences within this world. We want to be happy or Loved or famous or whatever else, so we look for those things and we ignore sadness, loneliness, misery, and suffering. By ignoring parts of this world that we don't like we miss out on the big picture, we miss out on the truth that is staring us right in the face.
We create characters within our dreams while we sleep. We create our own character during the day when we are awake. That character is what we consider to be our identity, who we think we are. That character is not who we really are and many of us are unaware of this truth. When we realize that we are not the character that we have created of ourselves. We refer to that as a spiritual awakening. Waking up to the truth.
Then comes the realization that if everyone can be a character in my dream and I in theirs, then just maybe we are all characters in God's mind and maybe God is dreaming all this and eventually God will wake up and this will all vanish.

God was all there was, God was alone, God created the universe so he wouldn't be alone. He created the world and all the plants and animals; he created Adam which was the first man. God created everything because he was alone, and he wanted to share himself and his Love but he had no one to share it with. God created imaginary friends and then created more imaginary friends for those friends. God created Eve so Adam wouldn't be alone. God then gave his imaginary friends the ability to make their own choices, he gave them free will.

In order for his imaginary friends (creations) to have free will they had to be given a choice. God gave them two trees and said don't eat from this one, and if you do you shall surely die meaning they will forget that they are in fact God and will believe they are separate and not in fact God's imaginary friends. God created two trees as a means to make sure we wake up in the end and realize who we truly are. One tree got us banished and the other brings us back home. God has always known that he could allow his creations to do as they please which includes believing that they separate and not actual creations within God's mind.
God Loved the world so much (his creation) that he gave his only begotten son and whosoever shall believe in him shall have eternal life. God is eternal and we are God's imaginary friends who think they are separate from God, and God sent himself into his creation and created himself in the flesh in order to show himself to us. Jesus is God in a form that we can understand. God is formless and we live within form, Jesus is the form of God. Jesus is simply one way God gave his creation in order to ensure there return back to Love. God gave his creation Seven major religions. All of which have been split and separated by us, God's creations.
We only exist within God's mind, therefor we are all God and we "reincarnate" into all the other forms. God has eternity to watch every character that God created and every character that God's characters have created, since God gave us the ability to reproduce. God is the "I" within us, he is the feeling of "I Am". God is the ultimate "I Am" and since we are all God's creations within God's mind, we can all feel the "I Am-ness". God allows his creation to make their own choices and have free will and God does so without interfering. Since we are all creations within God's mind, God is all-knowing. God knows why we do what we do, and God also knows that eventually we will all wake up since he gave us clues to the truth everywhere we look.
God was alone and he created the universe. God gave his creation free will and gave his creation clues to find their way back to God. We are all God's creation, but we believe we are real and somehow separate from God, so we shun God, we worship false Gods, and we attack. In the end we all wake up to the fact that we are God and God is all there ever was and all there ever will be. We are all part of the greatest Love story of all time. God Loved God so much that God created imaginary friends for God and allowed those friends to ignore him and pretend he didn't exist. God's creation killed their creator and when God sent Jesus in a form that we could understand we killed God all over again by nailing God to a cross.
We get infinite lifetimes to wake up from our dream and realize the truth that we only exist within God's mind. When we die to our flesh, our form ceases to be and we go back to formlessness, we awaken to our true self which is God. When we wake in the morning, we don't give anymore thought to most of the characters within our dreams during the night. The just disappear into the nothingness that they were. When our character in this dream of the world ceases to exist it will also disappear into the nothingness that we are. We were never real to begin with; our misery comes from believing otherwise. Deep down we all know the truth, we all know we are God dreaming. We like to think that we can dream better than the one who is really dreaming it.
Everything within the universe whether it be known, or unknown to us, is within the mind of God. God is the one and only reality, God is everything and everything is God. God appears in seemingly separate and unrelated forms or symbols within God's mind. We are those forms and symbols within God's mind, everything that ever was and ever will be is within God's mind. Everything is within God's mind and therefor there can be no attack, there can be no wrongdoing, and there can be no mistakes. God is wholly perfect and innocent. The universe is a thought within the mind of God.

Christ

What is the title Christ and who is Jesus? In order to understand who Jesus is and where the title of Christ comes from and what it means we need to go to the beginning of the story. God created everything in seven days according to the Holy Bible. God created everything perfect, and it was all good and God was pleased. God was so pleased with his work that he gave himself rest on the seventh day. Adam (man) and eve (life) were tempted by Satan (doubt) to believe that there was more. They were living in paradise but doubted God and thought God was hiding something from them. They were then banished from the Garden.

God is Love. God made Adam in his image (Love). Adam believed he was banished from God's Love which was in the garden. Adam had sinned against God, he doubted God and he believed he lost God's Love. God did not abandon Adam or his offspring, they were God's chosen people. The Bible tells the story of God's people constantly doubting God while God continues to provide for them. God Loves his creation which includes man, it is only man who thinks he is separated from God. God tries multiple tactics throughout the Bible to show his people that God is still there. Yet, his people continue to believe that they are not one with God.

Along comes Jesus who was the physical incarnation of his father God (Love). Jesus was a shining example of pure white, shining, sinless, Love. Jesus of Nazareth was the first human to have the title Christ. Christ means the anointed one. Jesus was anointed with God's Love giving him the title Christ. Jesus was the first human who never gave into fear and only practiced pure Love. Jesus (the physical incarnation of God which is Love) Loved the world so much he gave his life for it. Jesus's mission was to show us the good news that there is no death and there is nothing to fear. Jesus became an example to the world as how to live a pure life filled with Love and how to overcome death.

Christianity as a religion has expanded on this with the New Testament which is about allowing Christ (anointing and Love) into your heart to experience eternal heaven. Allowing Christ into your heart or getting saved as it is referred to within Christianity means to let Love in. The entire Bible containing the old and the new testaments is a story about good vs evil a.k.a. God vs Satan a.k.a. Love vs Fear. When humans live in fear they are living with Satan (doubt), and when they accept Christ into their hearts and become born again Christians it symbolizes allowing Love to overcome fear. When we allow Christ into our hearts it opens the gate and gets rid of the veils covering our eyes and leads us to being able to see the Christ within.

The Christ within oneself is our true nature, it is our heart center, our Love. God is Love and we are made in Gods image which means that we are Love. Every person with the exception of Jesus was born into this world with the idea of separation in their mind. Jeus knew he was one with his father, he told us that he and his father are one. Jesus is Love and his father God is Love, they are separate forms of the same Love. When we open ourselves to Love and fan the flames of Love, we set free the Christ within. The Christ within is pure Love and free from fear. Jesus is not the only Christ; he was just the first. Eventually all will see the Christ within themselves, and it ultimately depends on how stubborn you are about admitting it. Love and Peace!

The Two Trees

I don’t have to believe every thought that comes to My mind, My thoughts encapsulate the ego which is never satisfied and is always wanting more. The desire for more is a natural survival instinct. This instinct ensures get we continue eating and drinking and fucking in order to ensure species survival. If we were able to be satisfied at the egoic level we would stop seeking out food, water, and sex and eventually our species would die out. In order for our species to survive this instinct can never be satisfied because we would die. This instinct is impossible to fulfill, it will always want more and too accomplish the desire to always have more this instinct will always make you believe that you have never had enough in the past. If you could see you have always had not only enough but you have always had way more than enough you would stop wanting more.

Your mind doesn’t allow you to see that you have enough which is what leads you to wanting more. We can see examples all over the world of people who are always wanting more, more food, more money, more fame, more power, and so on and so on. Since the universe works on the principle of balance there is a counterbalance to the ego which is wisdom. Wisdom is what gives us the common sense to not overindulge and not live in excess. It’s a perfectly natural instinct to want more and wisdom tells us to be content with what we have. Wisdom tells us that nothing good comes from greed, envy, gluttony or lust not because they are immoral but simply because those things just cause us to inflict our own suffering upon ourselves.

We create our own suffering and misery when practicing and living in overindulgence, if overindulgence becomes too strong, we create our own hell that we choose to live in. Wisdom tells us to enjoy life, live it to the fullest, want just what you need and no more. Wisdom tells us that when we stop overindulging and wanting more we come to the center of our being. The center that nature intended for us. The center of our selves where our wisdom and our wanting for more can work together in harmony.

By giving in to the desire of wanting more we give in to the needs of the ego which can never and will never be satisfied leaving us in suffering and misery. When we identify with our ego and our natural instinct to want more without counterbalancing it with wisdom, the ego takes over due to its heavier weight from being used more and tips the scale. If we use too much wisdom and we live life where we restrict our instinct to want more we end up being all out of balance in a completely different way. When living in our natural center we find peace and harmony instead of chaos and discord.

The tree of life is the ego, and the tree of knowledge is wisdom. Eating the fruit of the tree of life is overindulging and wanting more, the belief that you are missing out on something better. When we overindulge and believe that we are missing out on something better we fail to see the perfect and beautiful garden we are standing in. Doubt (Satan) caused the fear to arise that we are missing out and eating the fruit (overindulging) of the tree of life tips the natural balance out of scale and we get banished from the garden of Eden. Eating from the tree of life (ego) leads to death.

The tree of knowledge is the wisdom that helps us to find our way back. Wisdom shows us how the tree of life is what got us banished from the garden and so we need the other tree to get back in. Wisdom is the key to the garden. Our hinderance is that we are afraid of the tree of knowledge, we don’t trust it since the other tree got us banished. We have to face our fear and move past it to get to the tree of knowledge. When we start partaking in the fruit from the tree of knowledge it balances the scales back out and we can open our eyes to see ourselves having never left the garden to begin with. We only thought we did because we didn’t believe we had enough and were always looking for more. Desire is what lead to the belief that there is something better than God already made perfect. Desire is what created the physical realm where all forms shall perish. Partake in the fruit from the tree of knowledge and attain the wisdom that there is no death. Love and Peace!

A Game

Within this incarnation I have been drawn to ninjas, spies, snipers, assassins, and magicians. I wasn't drawn to the violence that those positions generally are connected to; in fact, I loathed the violence. There is an excitement to moving about undetected and unnoticed. There is a power that comes with invisibility. I learned this in my childhood when I would live my life sneaking around the house avoiding my abusers. I learned to go unseen and unheard. I developed an extraordinary talent to be unseen in a room full of people. If I was seen, I was beaten but I couldn't be beaten if I couldn't be seen. I lived my life in hiding. I'm older now, I'm stronger now, and I don't need to hide anymore.
I learned a lot about people with me being a ghost in this world. I learned how people act when they are alone versus when they are around others. I learned that most people put on a show that they want people to believe and that they are too worried about anyone finding out their secret that they are unable to pay very much attention to anything that is going on around them. I learned that the poorer you look, the more invisible you are. Most people will not make eye contact with homeless humans. I learned all sorts of ways to remain undetected in this world. To be honest, I used this to my own advantage earlier in life. I would find opportunities for myself to benefit in some way from someone else's inattention. I usually had too much guilt and shame inside of me to do anything to nefarious.
One day I had a question come to my mind about whether or not it was possible to do a completely selfless act. An act that only benefits the target. I viewed it as a challenge, not an impossible challenge but a very complicated one. It was a puzzle that I wanted to solve. I wanted to know how to do a purely selfless act or if it can even be done. There was debate on whether or not to write this post since that could essentially be making my acts not selfless but as I am not writing about specific acts I have done; they are remaining selfless. I have to admit it was harder than I thought it would be, every idea I had seemed to benefit me in one way or another which negates the selflessness of the act. I didn't want to do this out of any sort of obligation or moral aspect, I simply liked the challenge of the idea. A philosophical experiment so to speak.
I came up with some guidelines for myself. In order for an act to be selfless I couldn't benefit in any way. Which means I can't tell anyone about it because that feels good to me. I realized that even me watching the act wouldn't be selfless since watching someone become happy and knowing that I helped give them that joy made me feel good too. I like to give people joy and kindness so me watching their joy completely negates the experiment. I had to find ways to do an act of kindness for people without them ever having known that I even existed and without me being witness or party to it. I Love the idea of "pay it forward" which was big for a while but even with that, you're risking praise from the cashier or other customers which would once again give me that good feeling.
It was hard and it took some time, but I eventually found some ways in which I can do random acts of kindness for people and no one but me knows it was me who did it and I don't get to see their reaction. Honestly, not being able to see their reaction is probably the hardest part. As stated earlier I will not be sharing specific acts that I do but I will give example scenarios that are similar to acts I would do. Have you ever found a twenty dollar bill hidden in a pocket of a jacket that has been in the closet for months and you think "it must be my lucky day" and the amount of joy you feel the rest of the day and you can't wait to tell everyone you know about it and start thinking about what you're going to get with this free money that just randomly showed up in your life. Those are the kind of things I do.
Obviously, I'm not breaking into people's houses to put a twenty in their pocket. for them to find, but I do things similar to that where the target may not even come across my kind act for quite some time. I never know when my targets will receive their act of kindness and I'm never around to see it. My ability to become invisible as a child due to abuse is what lead this game. I Love this game, it's one of my favorite pastimes. I can't describe the thrill I get knowing I gave someone joy. I realize that the fact that I get a thrill means it's not selfless, doesn't mean I can't keep trying though. Maybe I am playing an impossible game, maybe it is impossible to do a completely selfless act, so I'll just keep trying. Something is only impossible until it's not. Either way I'm spreading joy with my super-secret ninja random acts of kindness. Maybe you have been a victim of my ninja kindness and aren't even aware of it and I'm not the only one, there are other kindness ninjas out there too. I am grateful for my past since it brought me to my present. My dark childhood is what led me to the light. Love and Peace!
